Our Story

Peachy Keene Yarn Shop (PKYS) is a family owned and operated boutique yarn shop in the heart of the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire. We're located a couple blocks north of Keene's Downtown Square on Washington Street. To locate our building, just turn into the parking lot of 82 Washington Street and you'll find our small one-room building at the bottom of the slope beyond Stoneman Jewelers.

PKYS began as an indie dye studio in Dallas, Texas under the name Chrysalis Yarns. Over time our business grew, and when the opportunity arrived to open a Brick & Mortar location, we snapped it up! We are so delighted to become a part of Keene's craft community and culture, and we look forward to serving our local and national communities both in person and online.
